    A team with a shitty record will always host a playoff game because

    a) a shitty record will not get you a wild card berth
    b) all division winners host a wild card game.

    Crap, I forgot that the NFL has a commissioner with a bag of ideas nobody wants. This will speed up the extra playoff games.

    I think it's basically a foregone conclusion that they're adding at least one more game by next season. I wouldn't be surprised if they add playoff seeding in within a year or two.
