Week 13 college football thread: Don’t It Make My Buckeyes Blue?

I have a good friend who does her grocery shopping almost every week during the Alabama game. She actually does care about the outcome, but gets nervous easily and has trouble watching.

 

I have a true sickness. Chasing last week's terrible over bet on Iowa-Minnesota, I took under 42.5 in-game in Nebraska-Iowa and had to hold on for dear life. What is wrong with me?

 

And no flag on the blocker in front who literally bear hugged the rusher.

Pointless if it’s important to be really close to the stadium. Shops are boarded up. At least they used to be on that day.

 

Of course it’s pointless. It’d be a conversation with a person buying cat food. I want to know what it’s like to escape the cult and what that person’s thought of the cult is.

I’ve lived in places where being a fan becomes a civic duty and is key to success in business and social status. I’ve never lived a place where heretics don’t even seem to exist. Columbus, every time I’m there, seems to be the latter.

That has the potential for a super enterpriser.

Reminds me of the time a POTUS came to town. While all the excitement took place, one reporter was at a courthouse covering the verdict in a child abuse case. Afterward, he wrote a poignant column about how the case/verdict affected him and compared that to the frivolous shit across town.
