Tulane building an on campus stadium and getting out of the hulking Superdome helped them out. USF needs to do the same, which i understand they’re working on.

Wild night in Iowa City. Not only are the Hawks spitting the bit, they just got called for "leaping over the punt shield," which is apparently a thing.

Oh, and what's this? Tulane 3-1 vs. the Big XII this season.

It's one of those "safety" rules, like "leaping and landing" trying to block a FG or PAT. They supposedly prevent injuries that never happened anyway.

This play by Cal's punter might be one of the best I've ever seen from a punter.
Bad snap, he scooped it up and was under pressure, had to roll to his left, and kicked it 30-plus yards with his opposite foot.

The ACC and touchdown-free overtimes: an iconic duo.

It's watchable tonight, especially a missed field goal. Those and injuries, especially at quarterback, have become familiar.

But Dave Doeren was correct: Turn on the Red Light, Chancellor. A win ... with a fourth-string quarterback ... over a ranked team ... on the road ... against a rival? Nice.

And 15 minutes later, Tar Heel basketball gets knocked off its No. 1 perch.

After the early-afternoon results, things broke nicely in a hurry ...
