Caliendo's Favre asshat wearer sounds stone sober compared with this.

Saban picking Culpepper over Brees is pretty fucking reminiscent of Albert Brooks' character picking a cow over start-up Casio stock.

I wonder if the Dolphins are keeping Culpepper off IR just to save themselves one last shred of embarrassment.

Of course, it's completely meaningless. "Daunte finished the season on the active roster" doesn't quite make up for "Brees led the Saints to the NFC title game."

That the-goal-line-goes-around-the-world rule is not only stupid, it means nothing. In this case, and every other successful TD I've seen when the "rule" is brought up, the ball touches the inside of the pylon, so the ball has to cross the plane of the goal line in bounds.

    The rest is psychobabble.

Wow, Payton has some grapefruits for calling that onside kick.

Can't blame him (one more TD probably locks up the W) but it definitely strays into the area of piling on.

EDIT: And as I post, there's the TD I mentioned.

Must be said again: How bad does this make Jim Fassel look?

My goodness, they just scored again.

Chargers-Saints might be the most fun Super Bowl ever,

    No... fucking ... way.

If it was at that stage of the fourth quarter.... then maybe it's piling on.

This is the NFL, and it's the third quarter. You keep scoring if you can. Parcells is a big boy. Stop 'em if you can.
