Well I started this thread off by saying that the Cowboys' weaknesses were their pass rush and the coverage of their safeties (I said just Roy Williams, but Parrish isn't playing yet, so the FS, too). Boy, did those two areas get exposed brilliantly by Brees and Payton tonight.

Kudos to the Saints. They thrashed the 'Boys, and now have just about locked up the #2 spot with Seattle losing today.

Which would not have happened without the approval of Tom Benson.

Good call on Al tonight. From the start of the second half on, he was on a roll, ripping and ranting on anything crazy and stupid. His rant on the halftime show smoke was a jaw dropper to hear.

BTW, here's my three-way tie between who was made the bigger bitch:

    1. The Broncos defense by L.T.
    2. The Cowboys secondary by Brees
    3. The Chiefs secondary by McNair

Yeah, but he will finish closer to Chad Pennington than LT in the MVP race. [/Columbo]

I totally agree with this. Could be a 2nd-round matchup if things work out like they seem to be heading.

Agree with both points here. Michaels is no Dallas fan, so for him to be in Dallas, with the Cowboys getting punked and Madden going all Summeral, he just let 'er rip into anything that came in his purview. Halftime smoke? I smite thee, etc.

Yep, all 3 of those 'made a bitch' candidates are right on point. I taped the Bal - KC game, still have to witness that for myself, but the first two I saw and bitches were indeed made, no question about it.

Good calls by Tommy Dreamer, Columbo and D-3, as usual. Columbo, I still owe you a follow-up to the Wesley Snipes question you asked me.

In short, I think Wes wanted to do more of the action things. He's pretty heavily into martial arts, and I think he likes doing the 'Blade' and niche type stuff (and, apparently, keeping all the profits for himself). You're right - he was amazing in New Jack City. He can act, and Hollywood knows it. He did a part in a Hollywood movie (can't remember name) just a few years ago and got a lot of acclaim for it. I just think he likes action stuff and filming mostly oversees. That's my take. When he went 'downhill' in Hollywood like a decade or so ago, it was with him as the lead in action movies. I think he just said to himself he'd just take his act elsewhere, and he did. Now guys like him and Seagal and Dolph Lundgren look very smart because the DVD market is where all the action is. Those guys are all doing quite well for themselves. Take it easy.

    Meh.

No. 1 should be "The Colts defense by Fred Taylor and Maurice Jones-Drew."

Butchering two languages and the quote function in a single post has to be some kind of record.

Irony: Following the Steelers-Browns game Thursday, Joey Porter railed against Kellen Winslow for talking too much. Joey Porter, ladies and gentlemen, complaining about someone talking too much.
