I thought Obi-Wan Kenobi was our only hope.

No Chuck. I meant punk. I get the reference, but punk is far more appropriate and to the point.

And it wasn't a block. It was a cheap shot after a play was over.

Just ran a list of Bears QBs since McMahon.

And Good Doc, pallister and the rest of BearSportsJournalists.com shuddered.

I'm listening to the game on the radio, and as much as I hate to admit it, Boomer Esiason is damn good, especially teamed with Marv Albert. They have a great NY-style ripping each other on-air relationship. Esiason almost never misses correctly identifying a penalty, and he also does exceptionally well at the trivia question Marv asks the audience.

Marv Albert is fantastic, as usual. But he's even better with someone who really responds well - hell, even asks for more - to his cut-down approach to his analysts. Esiason on TV doesn't do much for me, but on the radio, he's good. Very good.

Esiason is awful. He might be tolerable if he didn't feel the need to explain everything to us as if we were a bunch of drooling hondos unable to comprehend anything without his explaining it to us and holding our hands thruout the process.
