Thank goodness for the brief 12-minute halftimes. Can't believe they haven't stretched that to 20 or so by now.

  2. This is going to be one of those games, isn't it?

Did anyone else see the crawl at the bottom of the screen on Fox show Tampa Bay leading Chicago 1-0?

I figured Longoria went deep on Arietta.

Yup. Can't say I like the play calling even though Williams looks good so far. Tomlin needs to realize his team can't get a tough yard, at least not since Bell got hurt. He has to stop giving away field goals like that.

Would also be nice if the defense would show up. They look terrible against a very bad Baltimore offense.

The Steelers have two bad teams between them and the playoffs, but so far they look like they are determined to blow that opportunity.

Oh, and the Jets are beating the Patriots. WTF?!

Maybe the Steelers still think this one is a night game? What a stinker of a performance so far. They just look a little bit off on every play.

Tomlin still needs to take some heat for giving away a field goal on that first drive. That fourth-down stop seemed to give the Ravens life.

Two receivers wide open underneath and Roethlisberger forces a ball into coverage for an interception. He is too experienced to be letting his frustration get the better of him like that. One more element to the game plan as the Steelers find a way to lose to a bad team.

Third down the other way, Mallet does exactly what Roethlisberger should have done and dumps it off for a first down. The Steelers will be lucky if they are only down seven at halftime.

Tucker 0-for-5 this season and 1-for-11 in his career at home from 50 yards or more, but he just nailed one to push the Raven's lead to 13-3 just as the Jets take a 10-3 lead on the Patriots.

The Steelers really have a special talent for losing games like this. Roethlisberger needs to play a hell of a lot better for Pittsburgh to turn it around. I know this team had some very bad luck with injuries, bur there is no excuse for missing the playoffs when all they have to do is beat the Ravens and Browns.

  9. I called this week ago: Beat Cincy and Denver and lose to Baltimore And/or Cleveland.
Defense has got to make some adjustments.
Mallet has tons of time when he needs it and defense is playing such soft coverage.

    Eva?

  11. Blake out with back spasms could be the best news of the day for the defense.

This has to be it for Ruston Webster as Titans GM right? I mean, even if he tongue bathes Amy Adams Strunk's anus on the half-hour, this has to be enough to get him fired, right? Please?
