Resigns as in "skips out on the job because he's the coaching equivalent to a con artist and he's only looking out for himself."

You aren't kidding about the ND schedule - two of the their three "tough games" FSU and Texas AM aren't that impressive. And who knows where SC will be at the end. They might not beat a team with a winning record all year and still go 11-1.

It was amazing how physically overmatched N.C. State looked against Tennessee. If you didn't know, you might have thought the Wolfpack were an FCS program.

This is the deepest - and best - Vol team of my lifetime.

I'm certainly buying them as one of the four SEC teams that will be in the playoff and maybe the one that no one will want to face.

A true leader, stepping up and taking accountability.

Colorado ran off two OL from last year, who are starting at Oregon State, which has rushed for 600 yards in two games. Sometimes it's not the Jimmies and Joes, it's coaching.

So last week at the Purdue-Indiana State game, a Purdue student participated in one of those half-time stunts where a local auto dealership (that also paid for the rights to name the field) offers up a free car if the kid can make a 20, 30 and 40 yard field goal in 30 seconds. Kid made all three. The stadium crew announced it. One of the auto group representatives congratulated him on social media. Then they went back and looked at the tape. Because his third kick was less than a 1/2 second too late, they're calling take backs.

UAB at Arkansas next week. Arkansas -21 is basically free money.

Oh, FFS. It's a lease -- you're not actually giving away the car (which the dealer could do, and write it off as promotional expense).

They need to be dragged big time. Pay up, welchers.

In fact, flip the script -- GIVE him the car, free and clear. No lease -- in fact, cover his purchase taxes, plates, insurance, gas and maintenance costs for the first two years. Issue a suitably self-deprecating and humorous press release, set up a bunch of smiling handshaking pictures, you look like the good guys, everybody goes home happy.

    Otherwise you look like assholes.
