What is it about Michael that so many people like?

He's 3rd on the depth chart, he was a preseason wonder.

Fast as fuck, hits like a freight train and makes people miss in open field...

    He's the real deal.

    Is he better than Lynch?

He's not that far behind. You don't bench Lynch for him, but I would guess Michael starts getting 8-10 carries per game pretty soon.

Robert Turbin has been doing a pretty good job in that role now.

So in your opinion the Browns got more than Richardson was worth.

I thought you would have been including Richardson.

You also don't punt an NFL season after Week 2.

Trading Richardson isn't punting when your QB is Weeden.

Weeden isn't the QB anymore. They're going with Brian Hoyer this week.
Anyone who ever listened to Mike Lombardi on Bill Simmons' podcast knows the guy has had a raging boner for Hoyer for about three years now. It's nice to see that relationship finally consummated.

I realize all of that, they started the season with Weedon which is essentially punting the season.

Lombardi inherited a mess, the mistake is drafting Richardson that high in the first place and a late 20's QB in the first round.

I, at least, think the Browns got way more than Richardson is worth. I love this deal for them. (And I realize it's hard to judge it as a one-off as a fan, since there's been so much shit the Browns have put fans through. But just this deal? Love it.)

The way the game's played now, only about two. It's a passing league now.
