And his defense was gassed by the end of that game, nearly blowing a 33-7 lead.

Well there you go, Griffin must run a 5.4 now.

If the D was gassed, that's on crappy conditioning. The Eagles offense had the ball for almost 33 minutes. So the Eagles D wasn't exactly out there a ton. The decidedly not-gassed Bears defense was on the field longer in their game.

As usual, too many people over-react after one week. It's a long season. The Redskins started 3-6 last season, the Seahawks 5-5. Teams develop.

Everyone was making a huge deal of the Eagles running 77 offensive plays. But the Skins ran 70. And the Patriots ran 89.

Well, he sure as shit did not look like a QB capable of running for 800 yards.

Probably not but over a 5.0 40 is crazy. Peyton Manning ran under 5 at the combine.

Mark Sanchez out for season. Nice fuckin' job, Rex.

Overreaction Week between weeks 1 and 2 of the NFL season is one of my favorite times of the year.

  11. Meh...
Sanchez not playing QB was inevitable. More because he sucked than injury. This just hastens the process.
With any luck the Jets can get in on the Johnny Heisman Draft race. Sans Rex Ryan.

Even the Jets are not crazy enough to take QBs with their top picks two years in a row.

And I would love to see Manziel as a Raider. He would be a perfect fit.
