The difference is Joe Torre was almost universally hailed as a good guy who everyone liked.

    Belichick... not so much.

I could see Belichick becoming a small college lacrosse coach after he retires.

I wish Belichick would write a book on NFL history.
He is fascinating to hear on the topic and has a keen interest in it.
A few weeks ago he went on a tangent about how holding duties evolved.

Unstoppable. 18 of 20, 228, 3 TDs. Not even halftime.

Already covering. But I and the rest of Orange and Blue Country want to see this in September when it's 10 degrees.

12 TD passes thru first 3 games is NFL record.

    Let's see...

    Warm weather? Check.
    Weak opponent? Check.
    Before Thanksgiving? Check.

Of course Peyton Manning will kick ass tonight. Once Nantz and Simms show up in their overcoats, Manning will gag it up.

Damn. No 67-yard field goal attempt for Janikowski.

Well, it did snow in the mountains this morning and the refs are wimping out in long sleeves.

There's some talent on this Oakland defense, but this looks like a 4-12 team if God ever made one.

Sadly, I'm not even sure the Raiders are among the five worst teams in the NFL right now. I'd say the Jaguars, Giants, Redskins and Steelers are all worse, and the Bills, Jets and Bucs are on the Raiders' level. The Raiders are mediocre, but at least they've shown a competitive streak. Those first four I mentioned are five-alarm dumpster fires through three weeks.
