Well, they're punting now in case your radio fritzes out on you.
TE had a TD in his hands and dropped it. Next thing you know, Wake is taking it the other way.

I have yet to see a great team in the ACC. Terps have as good a chance as anybody.

Never thought I'd see the day.

But damn, that's a funny logo up there. :D

App State was the best damn football team IN all of Div-1-AA two years running.
Michigan scored nearly 40 points on them.
That, my friends, was not that big of an upset.

    And by the way ..
App State is losing 35-31 or thereabouts to Wofford with under a minute to play

I really thought Ga. Tech would make an argument for an ACC title this year, but I must have forgotten that Chan Gailey is their coach.

Very few coaches have done less with that much talent.

Moddy, Johnny's boys said it was Lance Ball on that pick play who was spread wide. Wouldn't be the first time they got it wrong though.

I think BC is the class of the conference. And I always thought the Terps had a shot at surprising some people and doing well this year. They're not a sure thing, but if they get their shit together, they aren't pushovers at all.

I've been watching the whole game and it just dawned on me two seconds ago that it was AT WAKE.
I was wondering why Maryland was in white at home.
Gawdamn I have to lay off the sauce.

Would be better warranted if the win weren't against North Carolina, tho.

Moddy, was that a TD? Or did he fumble it before he crossed?

TD. I think they got it right. Looked like he got the ball over just before it got knocked out of his hand.

I of course can't see it. But I'm calling bullshit. Fucking Carolina refs.

Could be that, too. Real hard to tell and nothing to clearly indicate it was wrong.

Whenever I think of OSU's "old school artificial turf," I remember the block "O" at midfield used to have, written in that popular 70s sans-serif font, a small, diagonal "Big 1" in two corners of it, trying to turn the block O into the zero in "Big 10." Back, of course, when there were actually 10 teams in the conference.

(and I always recall some beautiful highlights of Indiana's Anthony Thompson running all over that Big 10 Block O about 20 years ago, too :) ).

PSU down 14-6, but threatening against Meatchicken now ...
