    Why does Rice play Texas?

So I'm listening to the first game without Munson, and would someone please tell Eric Zeier to stop yelling all the time? You got a mike, big guy. Don't shout.

    And there's Eric's first "we."

All is not well in Auburn. New Mexico State takes a 20-14 lead.

NMS QB Chase Holbrook: 17-of-20, 193 yards, 2 TD

Larry on the ESPN broadcast. They asked him if he wanted to call a couple plays, and he said no. I love Larry.

    1.) Cal rocks!
2.) Penn State imploded & can't get the monkey off their back (apparantly a Pee-Wee team playing @ MI can beat them).
3.) LSU's ranking looks about right & injuries may start nagging them.
4.) Florida is looking a bit suspect.
5.) Ohio State may have woken up.
6.) USC (as often the case) starting slow.
7.) Is this the week Wisconsin is exposed?

Appy State loses...meanwhile, No. 2 montana beats Albany 35-14 to stay undefeated. Looks like there'll be a change at the top in the I-AA poll next week~

If this guy was in charge, we'd handle that little problem of dropped passes...

Kentucky goes back up on Arkansas with a nice touch pass and catch.

Meanwhile, Iowa and Wisconsin battle to see who has more fail in their pants.

This USC team isn't as explosive as the Leinart/Bush/Smith/Williams era Trojans. But I think they do a better job of draining an opponent's will during a game.
