Ms. Slappy is watching the game and, after yet another shot of the dumbass student with body paint, says "Why do they always have to show the biggest JoeBubba's from here?"

Because Wisky's defense has been nothing to write home about. Remember, they let a dogass Citadel score 31 on them.

Both teams struggled to score, but that was expected out of the Hawks. With a young line, WR's who are either inconsistent or facing jail time, Christensen is going to get knocked around this year. With that said, the defense can't continue to bail them out everytime.

Wisky finally realized that if they give the ball to P.J. Hill, he was bound to spring loose for a few good runs to help them.

Minnesota will be the worse team in the Big 10 this year. Zooker is going to get a big win in conference play.

Drinking a glass of scotch after Georgia beat Alabama. That was the best pass Stafford has ever thrown in a UGA jersey.

I can't help but think of the amazing call Munson would have had for that play. Scott Howard did a good job, but Larry would have made it magic.

By the way, could you tell how annoyed Munson was when talking to ESPN's announcers. All he wanted was what I wanted - TO WATCH THE FUCKING GAME.

Iowa's o-line is horrible. It's a fucking jailbreak every time they try to throw.

The defense deserves a lot of credit for keeping them in that game, tho.

Great pass by Stafford to end the game. That's a career-defining pass, no?

    Two thoughts:

Seeing the highlights again, LSU's fake FG is one of the coolest plays I've ever seen -- like something we would have had our powder puff team run in HS if we were that clever.

But seeing Lou Holtz reenact it in the studio and then shake his ass during his celebration dance is one of the scaries things I've ever witnessed.

The LSU fake FG will live on in highlight reels for some time to come.

But a quick question about that play: Why wasn't the holder ruled down since his knee was touching the ground?

The o-line is not going to get any better, Zeke. I said it in the last post. 1). they're young; 2). When Vandevelde went down, we finally saw Dace Richardson come off the IR to finally play a whole game. The two-deep is thin as tooth floss. Christensen has no choice but to roll out and pass or run for daylight. OC Ken O'Keefe can do everyone a favor and stop trying to run those jailbreak screen and swing passes to the short side of the damn field. Young and Sims had no room to catch and no room to weave their way down the field.

That is something I have never thought of. Good question. Unfortunately, I have no answer.

Tim Tebow ... 274 passing yards per game, 10 passing TDs, 1 INT ... 89.5 rushing yards per game, 7 rushing TDs
'Dre Woodson ... 247.7 passing yards per game, 9 TDs, 0 INT
Erik Ainge ... 282.5 passing yards per game, 10 TD, 2 INT

Three SEC quarterbacks who are on pace to make a shitload of money (or ... ya know ... who already make a lot of money ... it is the SEC).

The holders knees weren't on the ground. He was leaning back the entire time. But...isn't he exempt anyways because he holds the ball with his knees on the ground during the kick anyways?
