That bushy eye-browed old grump is by far my favorite professor of all time. He gave me more shit than any prof I've ever had. Man did he hate sports writers.

By the way, for those who don't know, the girl standing in front of Stafford in that pic is considered "average" in Athens.

 

She'd be average at most SEC campuses.

I've decided that sometime in my time at Wisconsin, in some way unbeknownst to me, I managed to piss off Bret Bielema, and these close Wisconsin games are his way of getting back at me. He's trying to kill me off with a heart attack, I tell you!

 

FWIW, brian brohm went 45-of-65 for 555 yards and lost to Cuse...

 

Nope. Every UH game so far has only been on Oceanic PPV.

The schedule in front of me says 10/12 @ San Jose State, 11/16 @ Nevada, 11/23 vs. Boise State and 12/1 vs. Washington will be on the ESPN family of networks. It wouldn't surprise me if every other remaining game was PPV. Strikes me as a bit of a money grab by the UH management.

After watching a few games:

Notre Dame continues to suck and I love it.

LSU made the sweetest play since Boise State last year with that fake field goal.

Surely UK will get its due now.

Louisville is freaking train wreck. Brohm came back for this? The defense needs a therapy session, or just a good kick in the ass.

Bob Davie is possibly the worst analyst on TV. Who would have thought he would suck at that more than coaching.

 

Was anyone else watching the Georgia-Alabama game when Mike Patrick, right at the start of OT, just blurts out:
"What is Brittney (Spears) doing?"
Patrick's partner is like "What?" "Who?"
Patrick responds: "Brittney Spears. What is she doing with her career?"
Partner asks if she is here at the game or is if she was a football game.
He, like me and probably everyone else is trying to figure out what the hell a Brittney Spears reference is doing at the start of OT of SEC ball game in Alabama!

WTF?

 

Just watched the replay on Classic.....that was maybe the stupidest question ever asked by an announcer.
