Pathetic Syracuse throws TD bomb on first play from scrimmage because Luh-ville has no idea what it's doing defensively.

Do we really need West Virginia on ESPN EVERY damn Saturday? The Eers are good, but they aren't that fun to watch because they still haven't played anybody.

Between ECU-WVU and South Florida-UNC, I'm not sure who to watch. What's on the Discovery Channel?

They weren't on last Saturday ... because they were on last Thursday.

In past years, we'd be getting colossal Big Ten matchups like Northwestern-Iowa and Illinois-Purdue.
But the Big Ten network has spared us that useless crap so we can get equally crappy Big East-related games instead.

Big East football on Thursday >>>>> Big East football on Saturday

I love the earlier discussion about the dilemma if we have three undefeated teams and one of them is from the Big East. Might as well let WVU or Rutgers in the title game, that way they'll at least play one team worth mentioning.

Well, CJ, I don't see WVU, Rutgers, Louisville or South Fla losing to a 1-AA team.

I'm seeing Louisville lose to a I-AA right now!

Yeah, I'd much rather watch a colossal Fat 10 matchup of Northwestern and Illinois than one of the more innovative offenses in the country::) And if I have to endure Fatconsin and suckass Iowa in a ABC primetime game tonight I think some of you guys can endure East Carolina-WVU and USF-North Carolina.

I'm not hating on West Virginia, but don't you think they could actually schedule somebody worth mentioning. I realize their conference blows, and they have no control over that (and yes, I know Louisville, Rutgers and SF are good, but the middle-bottom of that conference is so bad that it's amazing), but one out of conference game worth mentioning. That's all.

Never mind my rants. Real football is on Lincoln Financial now.

Here in Regina, we've got Temple/Bowling Green on right now. This could really affect my SportsJournalists.com Top 25 voting.
