You’re telling me there’s no unlv alum that can’t float 88,000 to keep this kid happy?

There was no doubt that college athletes should be compensated for their talents.

Just like there was no doubt this was going to happen, and will again. Over and over.

We wanted fairness; now we live with the excesses that come with it.

Averaging 6.5 YPC as a quarterback isn't bad at all.

Sad story, Brennan is still my dude. Sorry he got angry at your alma mater and tried to stick it up their ass at his new place, but that's college football coaching for you...it's no place to be if you want loyal friends.

I don't watch the pre-game shows on Saturday, have they talked much about NIL deals or are they still under the impression that these guys show up to fight for the honor of Ol' State U?

If you want to really go back, the first domino was the eastern schools telling Paterno to shove his all-Eastern Conference idea up his ass and he took his ball to the Big 10. It’s been shuffling and reshuffling ever since.

Concurrent with that in the summer of 1990 was Arkansas bolting from the SWC. That destabilized one of the old line conferences and even after merging into the Bog 12 the wound never quite healed.
