Now that I’m typing this it won’t happen, but it is entirely possible to picture Rutgers rolling into the LA Coliseum at 7-0.

 

I'm shocked. I was convinced the original call would have to stand because the replay couldn't deliver conclusive proof that the original call was wrong.
The officiating analyst said, "I don't think that's firm control," but he went on to say that "think" isn't good enough to overturn.
The conspiracy theorists are gonna have fun with this one. And I can't really blame them.

If you do the Zapruder film frame-by-frame look you can see where the Miami defender eventually claws the ball loose. But that isn’t real time. I know the saying is he has to survive the ground, but he snagged the ball with a foot down then appeared to roll over the pile of bodies for a moment before the strip. Does that not constitute a second football move, even if he wasn’t technically on the ground at that point?
