    I don't disagree, you gotta pick your spots and take advantage of their BOGOs and such. I've just always appreciated how clean and inviting the stores are, plus their subs are amazing. I also have a very strong bias, my brother has been a Publix associate for 25 years. Took me a long time in journalism to get the benefits he had pretty much from his first day.

    Agreed. I hit Publix and another chain each week to stock up on their BOGO items, then hit Walmart (ugh!) for national brands and non-perishable stuff. You can save a lot of money that way. And the parade of people is a study in contrasts at each stop.
