It's part the bright orange toupee, part the gap between the bottom of the toupee and where his hair starts up at the base of his skull.

The thing is, he's got to know how bad it is. After a football game once, I was following him out the players' tunnel from the field, and some drunk hanging over the railing points right at him and yells, "Holy shit, check out that rug!" Hoops didn't really react. But there's no way he didn't realize it was directed at him.

I've always hated the dreadlocks-under the helmet look. However, Geroges Laraque thin braids look doesn't work either. However, I'm not about to tell him that to his face. ;D
