More quality videos coming to youtube. Would Arkansas go after Tuberville?

Kiffin is Exhibit A on why the NCAA ought to treat the coaches just like they do the players and make them sit out a year if they want to transfer.

UT just sent out another release saying the Hamilton presser is being moved to the stadium to make room for the media throng.

I love Forde, but that column was a little SEC fanboish. As Forde points out, the guy took a better job.

I'm always stunned and which coaching moves make the fans go apeshit. Why would this be any worse than the hundreds of other times coaches have left for better jobs?

Petrino leaving Arkansas for Tennessee would be much worse than what Kiffin did to the Vols.

At least for me, the reason to be going apeshit is not THAT he left, it's HOW he left.

If he bolted for USC 4-5 years down the road, I wouldn't have a problem with it. But to hold a presser where you didn't answer questions in the dark of night and leave town just over year from when you arrived is sorry.

A job like USC doesn't come around that often. I also know of countless coaches who leave without holding a presser.

What sticks in my crawl is that he reached out to USC and campaigned for the job, at the very same time he's recruiting players to UT...including at least 6 players who enrolled in school LAST WEEK! It would be a little more understandable if he'd accepted the job only after being lobbied by Mike Garrett. A little. As Petros said on the radio yesterday, Sark has too much class to leave UDub after just one year, but Kiffin on the other hand...

Clay Travis at Fanhouse has a great story today about how Kiffin ignored a century of UT traditions, so I shouldn't be surprised that he turned out to be so classless. Hell, the fact that he stupidly called out another coach in his first public appearance, the fact that he couldn't even dress himself like a grown up, should have been signs enough that he was a trainwreck waiting to happen.

    Can you say "carpetbagger"?

And Forde's column? Yep ... what has this guy done?

If USC has any success at all, it will be because of the staff assembled around younger Kiffin.

Brilliance? That line is old as the hills.

I don't dispute that at all. But for someone to be professing love one day, naming his kid Knox, etc., then sneaking out like a thief in the night is just sorry. "I love you til something better comes along."
