Of course if goes out and beats Florida he could sacrifice a virgin at midfield the next week and nobody would give a shit.

    True. Sad. But true.

My point is -- based on early observations, I don't know how in the hell this guy would be able to coach his team to beat Florida A&M or Alabama State or McNeese State, much less Florida, Alabama and LSU.

Um, he signed the No. 1 player in the country -- Bryce Brown -- and ended up with a Top 10 recruiting class, has the returning players bulking up and more disciplined than any in recent UT memory, and put together one of, if not THE best, coaching staff in the history of the SEC.

    He'll do just fine.

I'm thinking Lane Kiffin is going to be a disaster in so many ways ... one of my buddies dubbed him "Boy Blunder" right after he was hired ... I think he's dead on

I find myself baffled by Lane Kiffin. Could Al Davis be right? Could Kiffin actually be good, bringing in gobs of talent with a great staff? Can a staff be great with Orgeron on it?

    The answer: Yawyawyawyawyaw ... fooball.

He's brought in a great recruiting class, especially with the Janzen Jackson (Lake Charles) get a day after signing day thanks to his hire of Coach O. He's got a good initial class and great coaching staff.

He doesn't, however, have John Chavis. ;D [/Tigahfanboilooser]

    Bill Callahan heartily agrees.

No, he doesn't have Chief. Which means Vol fans won't be cringing at 3rd-and-longs any more!

    ;)
