Anyone remember the two timeouts that Urban took at the end of the Georgia game in 2008? I can only wait to enjoy how he bitchslaps Lane for yesterday's transgression. I think getting the UF band to play a fucked up version of that fucked up song while hanging half-a-hundred is a good start!

Kiffin will be gone before Chizik.

I'd take that bet in a heartbeat. Kiffin looks like a buffoon today, but he has the kind of contract that pretty much guarantees he'll get at least 3-4 years to prove himself. If Chizik fails in his first year, he could be gone.

Lane Kiffin is starting to make Al Davis look smart and completely in touch with reality.

Nope. They went out on a limb to hire Chizik and took too much shit for them to cast him aside after one year. They'll go out of their way not to give him the ziggy.

It's easy to say Kiffin isn't going to be there very long when he hasn't even coached a single game yet. With that staff -- both recruiting and on the field -- they are going to be just fine. Hell, Lane can sit around and fondle his wife during games in the press box and Tennessee will still probably win 8 or 9 games every year.

What did Kiffin do to piss off Saban? Not that it takes much.

What Kiffin said was stupid but the spunk it showed is great. UT's been wallowing in mediocrity and lack of energy on its coaching staff since Shoney's first cut the price of its breakfast bar a decade ago. It's about time someone had some swagger on The Hill. Did CLK make an ass out of himself? Of course. But do you think maybe more than handful of blue-chippers might have seen his swagger and think it reminds them of themselves? I would think so.

    Only time will tell.

Wallowing in mediocrity? Didn't Tennessee win an SEC title two years ago?

Reached the championship game, where they lost to LSU.

Florida will probably have fifty by halftime, so the band can work that into the halftime show.
