What a shock: Hollywood pushing back at "The Sniper"

This is horseshit. I know plenty on the left who take pride in our servicemen and women. Sure, some on the far left are opposed to war, but it's a small minority.

 

Opposition to a movie about Chris Kyle is MORE LIKELY to come from the left. That doesn't mean it's REPRESENTATIVE of the left.

A reminder that if #AmericanSniper Chris Kyle and similar US war criminals hadn't destroyed Iraqi society, there would be no ISIS today.

Now, his criticism has nothing to do with the movie, so maybe that doesn't count, but it does have everything to do with branding Kyle, and others like him, as war criminals, and not heroes.

I was actually stunned to find out that people were debating this movie outside of sj. Sometimes I forget there's a meaningful world away from this site.
