It's the changing of the definition by the trade association.
The cutoff was 2 million barrels, but Boston lobbied to increase the production ceiling to stay within the category, and as noted there is now an allowance for "adjunct" grains, which is unfortunate in my estimation.

Yes. That is why it is kind of bs, like the beer distribution laws from state to state.

I like some Sam Adams products and I like Yuengling porter and, to a lesser extent, black and tan.
I think the production limit should be subject to change, but there should still be a limit.
I'm not enthused about messing with the ingredient allowances, but I'm not surprised. At a certain point, you will ruin the marketing value of the term 'craft.'

Kind of think it's past that point. Again, not to sound like the eyeball test, but when I drink Bourbon County Stout or Ommegang Three Philosophers I'm thinking "this is good craft beer." Can't see how those aren't craft beers, but Sam and Yuenglings are.

  5. Wernesgruner a German Pilsner.

Aldi has a small but ecclect import selection. It's not great, but unique.

    This one isn't bad.

Bogle Phantom. It's a ridiculously good red blend.

If you're posting about wine, you have to make that clear.
Maybe some kind of opening clause such as 'I'm a sissy, so ...'

Otherwise we'll assume you are talking about beer or liquor.

    Or coffee.

Peach Mango Splash, watered down, too much sugar in this although it's good.
