Oh yes. Got a Kolsch bubbling away. In the keg in a couple of weeks. Trying to decide what to make next. Probably a mild blonde.

Big Brew Day was Saturday to all you homebrewers...hope you got in a batch. I did 10 gallons of Tripel.
Just bottled 6 gallons of my Hard Lemonade Blonde on Friday. I do need to step up to kegging though.

We split a lot of homebrews on Saturday, but as for commercial beers, we had Fat Head's Headhunter & Short's Goodnight Bodacious on hand along with local brewery Earnest brew works' New Sincerity West Coast IPA.

Also, we celebrated with our member Shannon Fink, who is also head brewer at Black Cloister here in Toledo. Her Belgian Pale Strong Ale "Chained Dog" took 2nd to Delirium Tremens at the San Diego International Beer Awards. Pretty good company. Beat out Pizza Port even.

 

Cigar City Jai Alai. Just got back from a Finback beer dinner. Had some good beers from Finback and one from Cold Creek Brewery in CT. You guys that home brew kegs, do you have house parties?

 

Trillium Mettle, a double IPA at 8.4%, very crushable. Couple buddies went to Treehouse and Trillium over the weekend.

 

Trillium Double Dry Hopped Sleeper Street, very good, but liked Mettle better.

 

Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper out of one of those freestyle machines. Why is it that you can't do just vanilla Dr Pepper, like you can with Coke?

 

Because vanilla Dr Pepper sounds disgusting?

 

It's fuckin soda. Could vanilla Dr Pepper be that much worse than regular Dr Pepper.
