She looked better than a lot of women out there rocking bikinis these days. But for someone who basically made a career out of looking hot in a schoolgirl outfit, she was way out of shape. Without rock-hard abs, there's no Brittany.

Or did you think she made all that money based on her superb vocal range, swanlike grace on the dance floor and biting, poignant lyrics?

 

Mentally incompetent ex-teenage sex symbols are tough to root for.

 

If I'd have seen her at the bach, not knowing who she is or anything, I wouldn't have had to buy magazines for months afterward. I"d have been set.

Silverman's mild joke was nothing when compared the child abuse allegations against Spears that have been aired in open court and in the media.

Considering the fact that Britney has been publicly accused and investigated for feeding her kids booze and Cheetos, dropping them on their heads, blowing cigarette smoke into their faces, ignoring car safety seats and using chemicals to whiten their teeth, Silverman's "cutest little mistakes" remark was hardly "hitting below the belt". Hell, it was nearly sympathetic.

Perhaps it would provide occasion for reflection on one's parenting abilties. If you can take a good, honest look at yourself and say that person is full of shit, then get mad. If they have a point, use that energy to, I don't know, be a better parent.

I read somewhere recently that she or her people had approached Playboy, and that they had turned her down, saying she didn't fit the Playboy image. ;-)
