So how have I not gotten more tickets or been at fault in more accidents if I'm such a bad driver?

Because law enforcement isn’t the sole arbiter of how annoying you are.

So what? People can still behave like inconsiderate assholes without committing arrestable offenses. Happens everywhere. Every day.

The simple fact that you've acknowledged an issue with people "constantly honking" at you suggests problems with your driving. Generally one doesn't get honked at unless he's annoying his fellow drivers, if it's happening on a regular basis ..well, then it's highly probable that you're the problem.

Apparent rising trend: drivers who want to be 'courteous' by waving other drivers through at a four-way stop.
This has the opposite of the intended effect.
Breaking down traffic conventions is not 'courteous' or helpful.
Following existing traffic conventions is courteous and helpful. Go when its your turn. Don't hold people up as you try to wave someone through or, worse, lead to the wave becoming the standard convention, creating a situation where we all sit there looking at the drivers around us and waiting to get weaved through.
Politeness, civility and courtesy - in all dynamics - rely upon each of us recognizing, acknowledging and following convention.

Asshole drivers who are always in a hurry are the problem. Slow the fuck down and stop being little bitches behind the wheel.

Explain the rotary. I'm obeying the law by yielding to the cars in the rotary. I have to do it by law. There are no common-sense exceptions. Yet, people still honk because of it.
