All right, here's what I did. I joined a website for Young and the Restless viewers (I don't even care if you're laughing at me) and I have been having fun writing messages back and forth to fans of that soap. There, I said it.

That was possibly the funniest post ever. Because I can just picture casty's self-righteousness and pride as he typed it.

After becoming addicted to seeing this site since I was introduced to it last spring, and checking it daily ever since, does "going into a panic" count as a good answer? ;D

Why does that not surprise me.

I rolled over 5,000 miles across ten states -- New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, North and South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and West Virginia -- passing through the hometowns of exactly 1,345 members of SportsJournalists.com, with no way of letting them know I was waiting in the bar for them to buy me a drink.

But Dixie, you did all right by me. I'll be down again.

Dammit, Jonesy. I'm very close (or in) three of those states.

How many of you are there?

    Clever. :D

I meant, I'm in one, 20 minutes from the border of another, and less than an hour from a third (and a fourth, now that I think about it.)

    Who's on first?

I hear you, Doc. I think during one stretch, I hit four states in about 25 minutes. Maryland gets reaaaaal skinny at one point.

But it also has lump crab cakes, so Maryland and me, we're cool.

But did you hit Eastern Vermont?
