    Re-visiting this thread.

A Chick-fil-A is coming to my town. I had two job interviews, then was told I wasn't "the best of the best." I think the fact that I graduated high school killed my chances of working the fryer.

Am I going to throw a fit and say, "If I'm not good enough to work for you, you're not good enough for my business!" Nope. For one thing, without the job I don't have money. My wife does. I'll spend hers. Besides, them chicken sandwiches are just too good to give up. It's been hell living in this state without them for nearly eight years.

So, I still don't give a shit enough about anything to boycott anything, and I sleep just fine.

  4. You are now my favorite poster.

Sure, that has all the value of 2003 Mike Maroth, but still!

And still, if BP's the last gas for 50 miles ...

I've driven past with the low fuel light on before. If I have to push my sled to the next station, so be it.

I still don't use portions of SportsJournalists.com that attempt to be content specific.

You forget that down here it is a more localized and personal event. If some random company shit all over Chesapeake Bay, I'm guessing you and your neighbors would hold a grudge longer than Bob from Casper.

I've not really thought about it much, but I actually boycot a lot:

    Exxon (Valdez)
    BP (Gulf)
    WalMart (obvious reasons)
    Chik-fil-A (obvious reasons)
    Fox News (obvious reasons)
    Drudge Report (duh).
