What do you expect from a minority hire?

Discussion in 'Journalism topics only' started by boots, Apr 24, 2007.

  1. Yeah, I'm sure White-brained wouldn't take the comment "please mature and grow up" as being nasty.

  2. I lack maturity? You're the biggest bull-shitter on here. Amerikkka? Homes? We?

I doubt you've ever hired anyone other than a teenage boy to mow your lawn.

You talk like Gary Smith and that crappy ass columnist who called Aaron a coward are your old friends. Right. Those are the boasts of a loser with incredible insecurities.

If you were an editor, especially mine, I'd laugh in your face. Truth is Boots, and this is something everyone else has figured out, you're nothing but an immature, wannabe bitch.

If you are trying to sound hip, you are not. If you were trying to correct my edit. You did that well.
I don't kow what you are talking about when you say peeps, crew, etc.
Write-brained, you still have lot to learn. You're young and dumb but that's not your fault. I'm glad that you called me a bitch. I can be the biggest and the meanest bitch in the valley. That's why I think I get the most out of my people. They know I can joke and laugh and will go into a foxhole with them any day.
When you have crossed the rivers I've crossed, covered the events I've covered and more imporantly, gained the insight that I have, then I'll take the posts of a 20-something wannabe seriously. This post ends my conversation with you.

    Boots, IJAG will speak slowly.

It's. In. Reference. To. Your. Played-out. Schtick. Of. Referring.To. Yourself. As. We.

  5. Dude, I'd bet a week's salary I've got more experience than you. I'm well out of my 20s. You're a poser. A punchline.

Look, holmes, write-brained can do whatever he/she wants. We, and you, know it's a free country, and this is damn sure a free message board.

From your posts, I KNOW you haven't been in the business as long as I have. Your salary, if that's what you want to call it, isn't worth a bet to me. And proof of what I'm saying is that you continue to try to get in a pissing match with me. What's the purpose? You've said what you said. I said what I said. LET IT GO!!!

Somehow IJAG missed this part of the post. Is he kidding IJAG?

  11. Speaking of let it go, do you remember when you said you weren't replying to White-brained anymore? Or was that one of your other personalities?
