What do you own (or do or eat/drink) that others would consider extravagant?

A bargain cannot by definition be an extravagance, YF. Getting a good deal on a luxury is shrewd capitalism.

I eat out as often as Versatile, maybe more. I don't cook, I don't mow, I don't change my own oil. Damn, I'm a lazy mofo it appears.

My one extravagance is probably the $1K hooker twice a month.

For a grand...that better be an all-day hooker. Does she make you pancakes and that expensive maple bacon as well?

175 neckties as I usually buy 40-50 new ones a year. With the 40-50 that I take out of the rotation, my daughter scoops them up, cuts them up to make dresses for her Bratz dolls.

    Stumbled upon it on tripadvisor.

Haven't practiced it since. I live nowhere close to sand.

I learned this: The wet sand where the waves crash up is NOT the type to use. You wanna be like at least 50 feet away from the shore. Then bring up plenty of buckets.

It takes a lot of water. My arms were sore just bringing the water from the shore to the design site and then the pile shoveling. The wife and I were almost worn out before we even started designing/carving.

Wow, a Madone? My kind of wife!

I'm not much of a Trek guy but the Madone was the best looking bike on the ProTour this year.
