    More ranked teams?
More teams ranked in the top ten?
More teams from conference ranked in top ten?
    Better bowl game record?
    Highest ranked opponents defeated?
Only team who beat a ranked nonconference foe?

Yep, all comprehensive and objective, and yep, answer to all is Nebraska.

You've lost this one long ago, now it is just a matter of how bad you want me to run up the score.

You can save that childish crap for oop, I won't be drawn in by it. We both know it's false, so I take you resorting to it as your admission of defeat. So there! Seeing where you're taking this, I'm done with it.

Translation - you know you are wrong and this ridiculous nonsense about a computer ranking is just that.

Like I said - computer rankings are a gauge of the degree of shitty the shitty teams on your schedule are and that is meaningless to a discussion of who played a more difficult schedule.

Both teams should have beaten the crap out of all the shitty teams they played but once again - who played more ranked teams? Who played more teams ranked in the top ten? Who was the only team who played two teams - or any teams - ranked in the top eight? Whose conference had more ranked teams? Whose conference had more bowl wins and a better winning percentage in bowls? Who played more ranked teams in the nonconference schedule?

Those things are actually relevant to this discussion and Nebraska is the answer to everyone of those questions.

Oh but wait, I forgot - 2-9 Indiana was less shitty than 1-11 Iowa State.... ::)

The anger caused by something that happened 13 years ago is even further proof that we need a playoff.

Nobody deserved the title in 2007. I mean, in late November we were wondering if Kansas would play for the national title. West Virginia choked against Pittsburgh. Kansas choked against Missouri. Missouri choked against Oklahoma.

I've never seen so much shuffling in my life at the top of the polls.

If this year's Boise and TCU teams had played in 2007, they might be playing each other for the national title.

I would definitely agree that no title should have been awarded in 1990 and 2007.

Yeah, I never thought I'd see the day where college football threads were getting locked. :D

We had a pro thread locked last year. I don't need to tell you guys which two people got that one locked, as I'm sure everyone knows.

You are so wrong. You need proof. You just can't stand that you lost. You always have to have the last word. (Insert cliche dick measuring argument here).

I like to think that CU scheduled its 20th anniversary celebrations of the 1990 team for the weekend it played Georgia because they knew the Georgia fans would join in the applause.
