What is your irrational hatred?

I hate mustard. Beyond just not wanting to eat it, I have almost a phobia about it.

I also hate parking attendants. Really all $10-an-hour faux authority figures, but especially parking attendants.

    Me, too.

    Your loss homes.

Many of these hatreds are quite rational. The thread isn't "what do you hate?"

    I'm not a hate monger, I'm more of a hate ... stylist.

    Thank you and good night!

Well, listing my geographical prejudices was clearly a mistake.

The overuse of the word "hate."

Lew Ford. Cocksucker is like a lifetime .230 hitter, but is probably .800 against Kansas City.

Parents who rely on the daycare provider to potty train their kids (yes, my wife is a daycare provider and we're going through that shit - no pun intended - with a boy who's almost THREE).

For the record, I do not dislike people based on where they're from.

I have had negative experiences associated with the regions I listed in my first post. Those experiences created some cumulative bad feelings, which I recognize and make my best efforts to combat, lest I treat people unfairly. I thought I'd made that clear. One of my central aspirations in life is to be fair, in general.

I'm pretty sure almost everyone has similar dynamics, wherein bad experiences can foster ill-founded presumptions or emotions. However, unlike most people, I'm dumb enough to admit that on a message board.

    Damn.

As a Texan, I am very, VERY familiar with people immediately disliking me because I have lived on a certain side of a political boundary, so I can assure you that's not a behavior pattern I seek to emulate.

Thanks wicked, but after three-plus decades of running off at the mouth/pen/keyboard and creating trouble for myself, you'd think that I'd learn.

Fuckin' paddies. Can't control their emotions or their tongue. :D
