What makes a good track photo?

    No feet touching the ground. Nice.

    That is what I mean about you know where they will be to take the picture. It's just that you do not have that many shots. Kind of like a perp walk.

    Xan, this is an excellent moment. Great catch.

    The scene is incredibly contrasty, and I would work to recover some of your highlight detail. I don't know what mode you shot this in, but I suspect your camera's meter was fooled a little by the dark unis and the track. I'd much rather expose for my highlights and run the risk of having my shadow detail get blocky. In a scene like this, losing some detail in your blacks won't hurt terribly, and will actually make your track a much more graphic element.

    Again, a GREAT moment. The shot has a really beautiful line.
