This little bit of idiocy needs to be preserved for the ages...

Earth to Zekee: It did happen.

And I recall a point raised by the news folk before we went in, and that was, Arabs concerned that we go in, make the place a mess and then leave because we've done it before. Anyone remember that? Of course not. You've had blinders on. All you can see is Bush and you are fueled by your disdain.

    You're right, Yawn.

The Vietnamese fought off just about every imperial power in the modern history of the world, but based on your unsubstantiated anecdote from a television crew in the 1980s, the "good" Vietnamese were glad we were there for the whole time and happy with what we did while we were there.

    You're simply brainless.

I'm sorry, am I missing all the cooperation we're getting from them in making the place better? Or did I just hear wrong when our buddies the Saudis called it an illegal occupation? Is all the blowing up of the infrastructure we're building, when it even works, not really happening?

I'm fueled by caffeine. Disdain is too expensive.

    Ditto.

And being fueled by sexual infatuation with Sean Hannity is much, much too disturbing.

Nice to see you got over your O'Reilly crush. Though Hannity does hit a little too close to the bone, doncha think?

You're the one who put "Hannity" and "bone" in the same sentence, mein freund.

I love some of the non-journos here . . . who do nothing other than foul off well-meant, dead-accurate fastballs bearing meaningful criticism of the current circus of depravity performed out of the curent White House, daily.

They can't defend . . . so they just try to diffuse and deflect. Tain't working.

They don't even foul it off. Which is why it's pointless throwing to them in the first place.

I can't figure out why anyone would waste a train of thought on Yawn and friends.

You call "Those who refuse to learn from history are doomed to repeat it." as a free standing post, which you then repeated, "well-meant, dead-accurate fastballs bearing meaningful criticism..."? I call it a cliche and "I call 'em as I see 'em"
