I can't stop saying bro, bro. And the only thing worse than Flo on the telly is hearing her sing some truly horrible songs in their radio spots. I change the station.

Flo strikes me as a cross between the old Josephine The Plumber gal and "Pat" from SNL.
    a.k.a., serious slumpbuster.

I love having DirecTV. The product is great, customer service is outstanding, they are always offering discounts and freebies. The only thing that might make me consider dropping DirecTV is another Rob Lowe commercial.

The fact that it is necessary, or even perceived as necessary or helpful, indicates that the rules are too complicated or allow for too much interpretation.

The use of replay has not helped professional sports one iota. All it has done is add another element that disrupts the flow of the game for the viewer, hurting the entertainment value, and it actually cause more discussion of officiating.
Please take replay calls out of football and baseball.

I'll go further: People expecting you to stand up and salute during "God Bless America." It's not the anthem.

It has nothing to do with patriotism. I stand up and salute the anthem even if I'm watching a game on TV.

You stand up and salute the anthem every time it's played before a game you watch on TV?

    Mr. Sunshine likes this.

I do the same and also cheer loudly at end so you can't hear "home of the brave"

Do you yell "OHHHHHH" like idiot Marylanders, too?

    Yes.

I don't do the "OHHHH" thing. I'm a Nats fan.

So, like, you stand there for 2 minutes with your hand on your chest every time you hear the anthem played on TV? For real?
