Listening to the Doctor Who pcast as I get some work done, sadly have to report being vastly underwhelmed. Chose "The Doctor's Wife" review, since it's a fave. Dude spent first 10 minutes bitching about the use of carrier pigeon-like psychic cubes (wrongly claiming it's a new construct) and jerky camera work. Callers are pretty damned annoying, too.

I was dragged to see him do standup in Vegas probably 11-12 years ago, probably right after NewsRadio went off the air and I think he was still on fear Factor and I was surprised how funny he was.

One of my friends loves him. He made me sit through a stand-up special Rogan did, I didn't laugh once.

    Horribly unfunny.

One of his comedy albums, I think his first one, is pretty bad... I liked the last one...

My friend has questionable taste, he said Patrice O'Neal sucked.

For my money, Elephant In The Room is as funny as any special I have ever seen.

Patrice was brilliant... When I was traveling to NYC on a regular basis, I would go to the Comedy Cellar almost every night I could and I saw him perform several times, he was just working stuff out, but it was still incredible... The guy was awesome.

Yeah, he was. His quick wit was something else.

He also had the greatest genuine laugh you could ever hear. There's a YouTube clip of him absolutely losing it while talking to an Opie & Anthony guest.

Started listening to Mohr Stories... Very good show, it probably guarantees that Mohr will never be on another TV show or movie again, but that's part of the reason why it's so entertaining.

I think they are planning on discontinuing it soon, but the Up and In baseball prospectus podcast is really great. Worth listening to the archives. A lot of great discussion about how scouting and analysis work together in modern baseball.

I tried that for a few weeks back in the preseason, but I quit before long. Those two guys are really insufferably smug hipsters. When the one guy said he didn't use Twitter to learn news, but only to be entertained, I hit stop and haven't gone back.
