Dude, she carried the kid around for nine months and then birthed her. You'll be *owing* her for a long time even if you're up every night between now and 2016. :)

My fourth (second daughter) was born last Friday. What an awesome experience to hear the doc tell my wife, "Your tubes are tied. You'll never have any more children." Two boys (4,2) and two girls (1, 0) are going to be a handful. Thankfully the boys are older to protect and to teach the girls how to be tough and play sports! (Girls sports here are kind of a big deal)...

Dude, when you get home from the hospital, at least let her get out of the car first.

I would have loved to have had a big family by today's standards (4 or 5 kids) however age and selfishnes has capped me at 2 plus a stepchild.

    Congrats on the newest addition.

Put the Chiquet clan in your prayers tonight kids.

Wife is at 29.5 weeks and because we didn't get all the pics of the baby's heart at 20 weeks because he wouldn't move into position, we went in for a "re-do."
To skip to the news: our baby's unbilical cord is wrapped around his neck 4 times. They admitted my wife this morning after seeing it on the ultrasound and is monitoring the baby.
So far, there is no distress with the cord, but they are concerned that it could become a problem quickly. Then again, it could just be something they saw and he could swim out of it tomorrow.
So, for the time being, she is in the hospital until Sunday...maybe Tuesday. And if things don't turn for the good...we will have a 30-week old premie on the way. Hope we get more news in the a.m.

Oh, and to top it off, today was my wife's birthday. :(

Prayers sent, spike. Have they given you an estimate of his weight?

Same here. In our mid-30s now and way too selfish to go through that again. Plus, we don't want to saddle Mrs. t_b_f with a third kid during another deployment.

Looking at the snip when I get back home.

2 lbs, 4 oz. So he's not huge, but he could manage. She was given a steroid to help the lungs yesterday should she need to deliver.

Sending good thoughts your way Spike. We have friends who were in a very similar situation and things turned out great.
