Just one small tip from my end, HM ... I found that the best way to ease into it is to get the "rolls," where the fish/vegetables are inside the rice, as opposed to sitting atop the rice. And get something baked, like a TNT roll or a Shrimp Tempura roll.

Something light and easy because it's 101 degrees and too hot to eat a big meal.

I will add this to the sushi discussion: I believe in "safe" sushi. I won't eat the raw fish, but I enjoy the rolls with bits of cooked crab or lobster.

If you would like to try sushi in the privacy of your own home before venturing out to a nice sushi bar, check out the fresh, pre-made selection at your local Whole Foods. As someone suggested, start out with a California roll. It will be a good way to introduce yourself to the concept of sushi, soy sauce, wasabi, ginger, etc.

Last night it was McDonald's somewhere outside St. Louis.

Tonight, it'll be some fast-food crap near Rapid City, SD.

I feel like Ralphie getting the Life Bouy shoved down his throat.

filet mignon and shrimp stuffed with crab meat, dirty rice with some risotto flavoring to it, and a ton of appetizers.

    I'll work it off eventually.
