I made a homemade Italian sub. I bought a loaf of fresh bread from the Public bakery and some honey ham from the deli. I also bought provolone slices, Hillshire Farms pastrami, genoa salami and big pepperonis. Sandwich was about three inches thick with the bread. An inch of it was meat. I sprinkled some oregano and crushed red pepper on the bread and spread a little butter on top help it crisp. Had planned to add a little chipotle mayo, but it didn't need it. I'd make another, but I'm out of bread. Hell, I might bake some.

KC strip, rare. Red potatoes, butter and garlic. Asparagus, also some butter. All done on the Weber.
    Goose Island Honker's Ale.
Later, maybe a square of dark chocolate.
    Damn, sometimes life is good.

Nice big chunk of beef tenderloin on the grill (a bit overcooked to medium) and steamed broccol and cauliflower. Excellent stuff.
