Black bean and cajun sausage enchiladas with homemade salsa on top.

    Yum.

That sounds fantastic, Zeke. And I don't know what's for dinner right now.

Having to watch my money for another week or so in this new land, I've been doing the ... wait, who's the SJ'er who brings 2 sandwiches to work every night? Well, that's what I've been doing, supplementing said turkey and cheese sandwiches with a jar of applesauce and cup of yogurt. Local big store has 10 jars of applesauce (24 ounces) for $10. Can't beat that!

It's actually good practice for money conservation. 'Course, when I start getting paychecks I might start to go out more. Or, maybe my monetary muscle memory will've kicked in by then. Here's hoping.

So tonight: 2 sandwiches, jar o' applesauce (without the pork chops), cup o' yogurt and some tortilla chips.

    Tommy --

I've been working on the recipe. It's also very affordable and good slow-cooker food. You can get a pound of beans for like 99 cents.

And Xan, it's Oz that packs two sandwiches every night.

The wife's out of town, so I'm on my own for dinner tonight. That means I'm probably in the market for some fast food. So what should I get? Any places have some new item that I must try tonight?

Tomorrow, I'll grill a couple of steaks.
