I try to exercise hard, but it often impedes my ability.

I think I'll have an apple for dinner. I'm not that hungry anymore. I'll just add some peanut butter for the protein factor.

I know. No fun recipes this week. I do have a good recipe for chicken and noodles if anyone wants it. It's a meal just about anyone in your family will eat, even with picky eaters. Unless, of course, any of them are vegetarians.

Presently we're dining on Pot Roast and Veggies Chunky Soup, but the day is fast coming when I break the cherry on one of the cookbooks I received for Christmas. I assure you, for those who don't know me, me turning on the oven is the equivalent of opening the seven seals.

On New Year's Day, we made a meatball recipe we saw on Food Network last week. Just used two boxes of store-bought meatballs, mixed with a half-jar of orange marmalade and a full bottle of Catalina dressing. Three hours in a crockpot. Outstanding.

Are we talking just the meatballs, marmalade and dressing? Because that sounds pretty easy, and expirimenting with a recently-bought slow cooker is also on the agenda.

Tuesday Night - Went to JavaMoonCafe and got their Harvest Moon Vegetable Wrap: Grilled fresh vegetables lightly seasoned with basil shallot, modena balsamic vinegar, and extra virgin olive oil, wrapped in lightly breaded fried Italian eggplant, sprinkled with fresh parmesan cheese,
and served with fresh sauteed baby spinach and roasted garlic and two small pieces of bread with bruschetta.

Wednesday Night - Grilled chicken (marinated in teriyaki sauce, olive oil, fresh garlic, basil, oregano, and chili powder) and steamed broccoli and carrots.

That's it, Kaylee. Maybe some hot pepper flakes and Worcestershire if you want some zing.
