    1.5-2 pounds ground beef
    One large onion
    Three cloves of garlic
    One can of Kidney beans
    One can of Chili Beans
    One can of Stewed Tomatoes
    Two cans of Tomato sauce
One of the bigger cans of Tomato Paste
Two cans of diced tomatoes (they have chili ready diced tomatos, too)
    Two packets of chili seasoning
    Hot sauce of choice
    Two handfuls of brown sugar

    brown meat and onions/garlic
While browning, open cans and put everything else in a big pot
Stir it up so the tomato paste mixes in
    Add browned meat/onions/garlic
    Put seasoning packets in
Put hot sauce in (only a couple drops unless you enjoy your mouth being en fuego)
Put two handfuls of brown sugar in.. stir...

You can add additional seasonings of chili powder, ground cumin, garlic powder, salt, pepper, etc. to taste if desired.

Heat on medium heat until bubbling. After dishing out the first bowls, turn to medium low. I always add cheese to mine, but have recently discovered that saltines with butter on them make a great dipping companion.

I should mention, my chili is enough for like 10 servings or so. And the leftovers are even better than the fresh stuff, although, the fresh stuff is pretty damn fantastic.

Isn't that like the mushy stuff in a can of pork and beans? You can make sandwiches out of that?

It might be that mushy thing in a can of pork and beans. Actually, it's similar to bacon, but it is sliced mlre thickly and is damned near too salty to tolerate. But, it's all I have in the fridge until tomorrow.

Spup's chili rocks. I make a similar concoction. To mix it up a bit, I alternate between ground beef, ground Italian sausage and ground turkey. I also throw in sweet corn.
