I'm glad you can eat that stuff Highway. I looked up foia gras one day and quickly decided it's not my cup of tea. :)

foie gras is one of the few gourmet things I would never try.

I refused to eat chicken livers when I was 9, too. ;)

Have steaks for the grill, portabella mushrooms, grilled veggies, and home-made rhubarb cake.

And I just got a call from my parents, they're stopping by. (Considering they live more than three hours away, this is a bit of a surprise.)

I don't think I have enough steaks now to feed everyone, even though Mom said they're not staying for supper, but I have to have supper ready for them, that's the way I was raised. I know darned well if the situation was reversed my mom would insist on having supper ready and all that. And I live too far out in the woods to make a trip to town feasible (and still have supper ready).

    :'(

Hot dogs. Too lazy to make sides. So just a lot of hot dogs.

Made hubby his favorite dinner in honor of Father's Day: Rib-eye steaks and fried cabbage.

Do I detect the blue font there? It is certainly a dish that one either loves or hates. A good old-fashioned southern dish. I cook it just like his mother taught me to.

No cabbage here, but rib-eye steaks.

Hot dog and cheeseburger at a ballgame I covered. Also potato chips and Caffeine Free Diet Coke.

I wouldn't have eaten the cheeseburger, but I overheard someone saying they were really good. The burger didn't disappoint.
