Okay, how does BBQ sauce in bowls taste better than pouring it directly on the meat?

I prefer mustard to mayo on sandwiches. But I've never had a mustard-based BBQ sauce.

The sauce I bought is made by Sticky Fingers. I gather it's a restaurant, too. Apparently, they're marketing their sauce in Walmart. On their site, you can purchase this pack of five different styles: http://www.shopstickyfingers.com/detail.aspx?ID=52

I should have used a rub. I forgot I had some. I also forgot that I'm out of red wine vinegar. So I substituted white wine vinegar and mixed in some canola oil and seasoning. I'm sure it'll be fine.

Now you have me serious about my meat. I learned the three basic components of a marinade. I'm going to buy some stuff and do some serious seasoning.

Instead of frying two thick filets, I sliced them in half and cooked four thinner ones. Muuuucccchhhh better that way.

As far as seafood is concerned, you just about can't beat a fried grouper sandwich.

I had a blackened grouper sandwich once. It was great. The restaurant was later caught selling Asian catfish instead of grouper. I don't know what I had, but it was excellent.

I give the Carolina sauce an A-. I loved the taste. In fact, it had a nice heat to it. I might like it more than any other sauce. The only drawback is that it's not that thick. I took the advice of pouring it into a bowl and dipping. I'm glad I did.

Arby's. 5 for $5.95 deal is a godsend when you crave an Arby's melt or three :D

Last night, I used some leftover beignet dough to make Jamaican beef patties. They were outstanding but a little dry. So I dipped it in my remaining Carolina sauce and added three bottles of Red Stripe. Delicious. I don't know about tonight. I'm ready for a culinary break.

Heading over to the neighborhood watering hole, and I'm either having seafood nachos (they do 'em good, lotsa baby shrimp) or a pizza. Not sure yet.
