Ribs cooked for five hours in a sauce made from apple butter, applesauce and barbecue sauce. Sweet peaches and cream Taber corn. A handful of onion rings.

Best damn meal I've made this year.

    Gomer, that sounds delicious.

I made crepes a few days ago. It was my first attempt. They fell apart. The pan was so big that I couldn't get the spatula under the whole thing. So I used my fingers a bit. Yes, it was a little hot. I mixed some peach pie filling with cream cheese and made some whipped cream. Delicious. But a little rich for breakfast.

Tonight, Adrian made enchiladas. It was the first time we've had them at home. We've had lots of tacos and burritos. We just never thought to bake the stuff in some enchilada sauce. The sauce was canned, and it wasn't great. I found a recipe for enchilada sauce. I'll try that next time.

can probably shoot it off before the morning. typically, I'm actually the cook. but she's got a select few dishes she can do well, and when she's in the mood for one of those, I step aside and surrender my kitchen.

    i've honestly thought about it.

    a tex mex/southern smoke bbq/mexican/steakhouse/casserole place.

i'd even refrain from calling the customers cocksuckers, too.

Sushi time! Took my daughter out for her 23rd birthday.

I had five rolls, including one I had made to order with spicy scallop, mango, avocado, deep-fried with spicy sauce dolloped on top. Everyone agreed it was the best sushi roll ever.

  12. Would that be the name of the restaurant instead? :)
