Yeah. No shit. The other day, a buddy asked me what kind of wine saver we use.

Wine saver? Are you fucking kidding me?!! If it's opened at my house, it's finished.

Rest of the NY Strip and some steamed mixed vegetables. Good stuff.

I've tried to make my own, but it's always turned out horribly. The ones at Hooters, however, are some of the best I've ever had. Sounds crazy, I know, but it's true.

Tonight, I believe steak and fried potatoes are on the menu.

You really do belong in the south, Sonner. Fried pickles, while good, are southern fair food. I bet you like chicken on a stick, too. :)

Actually, I do like chicken on a stick, especially the BBQ chicken at this Chinese joint back in Alabammy. And I'm the kinda guy where, if I like something, I don't care if it's mainly sold at southern fairs or on a grill under the bridge by homeless people. Plus, I've been to my share of fairs, and I've never seen fried pickles served there. Maybe I went to the wrong fairs....I was first introduced to them a few years ago by my wife at a Steak and Ribs place in her hometown. Made right, they're deeeeelicious. Especially with the right sauce.

You should get out more often. :)
