    Tonight's cooking lesson:

There is a reason you wait until after the eggs are scrambled and have left the skillet before adding the salsa. Otherwise it takes on the consistency of tuna fish.

(Have y'all figured out by now that I can't cook to save my life? Where are the Cheerios?)

    Dear CR,

Please come to Austin. Now. With your BBQ.

    Love,

UTShooter (who is far too old for you)

Tonight was chicken at Cheddar's in Waco, after the OU/Baylor wbb game.

Awwww UT, thanks... I'm glad somebody thought it sounded delicious. I couldn't move for about an hour after eating that. But it was worth every second of preparation.

This place will undoubtedly be the death of me as they are now introducing a all you can eat buffet.

If making a cheese omlette with salsa, you wait until the very end to add the salsa. Make sure the eggs are cooked, by that time the pan should be very hot, add the cheese add the salsa, cover the pan and if its a gas stove, turn off the flame. The cheese will melt fine and the salsa will only get a little runny. Not sure what to tell you if its an electric stove.

Leftover fried porkchops, potatoes, peas, cornbread and tea.

Just as good the second time around.

Dropped 75 on groceries today (hoping to make it last at least a week, since I overspend on eating out because I'm lazy and I suck at cooking [and life]). Tonight's dinner: big-ass salad with fresh spinach, peppers, onions, mushrooms, shrimp, fresh mozzerella, gorgonzola crumbles, raspberries and pomegranate-blueberry vinagrette. Uglier than my last column mug, but not bad at all. I think fresh mozzerella could become an expensive addiction.

I'm trying to find something on a menu somewhere that I can eat legitimately with my Weight Watchers thing. Hell, even the "guiltless grill" stuff at Chili's is like 14 points, or half my daily allotment.

Currently dining on Chicken and Yellow Rice.

Unfortunately the rice got a little undercooked, so it's crunchy in parts, but still damn good!
