Damn, I almost spit Sam Adams on my computer with that one.

Tonight we had maple herb glazed cornish hens, wild rice and asparagus. Oh, and a fight trying to get the three year-old to eat.

It's just better to name your dog "godammit!", saves your breath when yelling at it.

Chicken Caesar Salad and a Baked Potato. Healthy, right? But... I have one glass of pop (or soda, whatever) almost every day and it is during dinner. That high fructose corn syrup and yellow 5 is just too good to pass up.

Something frozen from Lean Cuisine or Weight Watchers, probably some yogurt and some clementines later for a snack.

    It's an awesome life. :D

I have a pork loin thawing in the fridge for use this week...anybody have a good recipe recommendation? Even better if it pairs well with mashed potatoes. :)

Made a salad last night with poached chicken, fresh tomatoes, green onions, homemade garlic croutons and some other simple vegetables. Didn't have enough olive oil for the vinaigrette, but we made do with some bottled stuff in the fridge. Sometimes it just doesn't get any better than a fresh salad if you're in the mood.

Our favorite: Shrimp pasta in a sun-dried tomato cream sauce. Garlic bread. Vino.

Homewrecker burrito from Moe's with tortilla chips.

    Never stood a chance.
